about

Line Saus' debut single, a murder ballad called "Six Feet Under," was released in March, 2018 where Mark Steiner also appears on guest vocals. Since her departure from the Tromsø band Pulp Vixen, this duet marks Line's first release as a solo artist, and will soon be part of her upcoming EP. The song features producer Håvard Stangnes on guitars and percussion, Truls Norbye on drums, bassist Ida Karoline Nordgård, and
Erik Nilsson on Rhodes piano.

lyrics

Six Feet Under
(Words & music by Line Saus)

All would be different if he`d been him self
The more I tried to please him he got stranger
At the point of no return he tries to plea
But now it doesn’t matter `cause his soul belongs to me

He tried to convince me but I could not let him go
Now he`s lying six feet under with his little ho

I followed them around the town all day
They were quite surprised to see me in their hotel room
His disbelief when the blood came pouring
The last thing on his lips was “Why Lorene?”

He tried to convince me but I could not let him go
Now he`s lying six feet under with his little ho

I should have known from the day I saw her
The solitude and darkness in her eyes
The worst part of my death was not the pain
But that the last thing from my lips would be her name

I tried to convince her but she would not let me go
So now I`m lying six feet under with my new love

about

Mark Steiner & His Problems Oslo, Norway

Mark Steiner is a well-known figure in Oslo’s music underworld, and he’s been around in Norway for so long that many assume that he is Norwegian. He is not. This ex-New Yorker is a wandering scoundrel who one might find hanging out in the shadowy corners of a pub at closing time. A international musical vagrant who might walk the streets with Stuart Staples, Nick Cave, and Rowland S. Howard... ... more
